King School of Graduate Studies — Monroe College

New Rochelle, NY

This former tenant office space, situated just beyond the heart of the Main Street campus, now serves as the home of Monroe’s Graduate Schools of Management and Criminal Justice. Campus standard finishes were upgraded selectively to convey a character appropriate for graduate studies. Eight classrooms are included in the facility. Two of the classrooms are hybrid rooms that use both conventional seating and computer work stations. A dramatic lounge space welcomes graduate students into the space. In keeping with the college’s instructional philosophy, faculty offices are located in close proximity to the instructional space, which includes eight classrooms. The project, which was constructed in record time, included new mechanical systems.
